Due to the popularity of the Inti Raymi, you must book your Inti Raymi tickets in advance. You can purchase your Inti Raymi tickets easily and securely and you will receive your official entrance ticket issued by the Cusco Municipal Festivity Organization. There are 3 sections to choose from: Orange, Red or Green.

This section is also the best for taking panoramic pictures of the Inti Raymi as the sun sunsets behind this section. The Inti Raymi is the most amazing Inca celebration, this ceremony takes place every year on June 24th in the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman and coincides with the winter solstice and harvest time. Thousands of people come together to witness the most beautiful reenactment of the most important festival of the Inca empire in honor of the sun god, the Inca's deity and the beginning of the Sun's New Year. The Inti Raymi is now the second largest festival on the South American continent and for this reason you must book this tour well in advance. A week-long celebration begins prior to the new year festivities with concerts and street fairs.
The Inti Raymi, the festival of the Sun, is held every year on June 24th, and it is held in 3 historic and natural stages:
• 09 a.m. - The Qorikancha or temple of the sun in Cusco
• 11 a.m. - at the Cusco main plaza
• 1 p.m. - at the Inca fortress of Sacsaywaman
