Transportation from hydroelectric to Cusco station One Way

This transfer is from the hydroelectric train station near Aguas Calientes to Cusco. It is the most affordable way to get back to Cusco from Machu Picchu town also known as Aguas Calientes. The departure time is at 14h20. You will stop in Santa Teresa briefly and arrive at Cusco's San Francisco Plaza by 10pm. The walk from Aguas Calientes to the hydrolectric train station is about 2 hrs. You can also take the train from Aguas Calientes to Hydroelectric station if you prefer not to walk.
There is also a possibility to see the Mandor waterfalls which is on the trail path between Hydroelectric and Machu Picchu Pueblo. Please allow plenty of time to get to the pickup point as there will be no other transportation available past 14h30.

Fitness Requirements

You must be in good physical shape and wear comfortable shoes. Although the trail from Hydroelectric to Aguas Calientes is flat, it is a dirt road with rocks along the train tracks. You must be able to walk for at least 2 to 3 hrs.
