Take the classic photo of Machu Picchu with this entrance ticket

This official Machu Picchu entrance ticket issued by the Peruvian government grants you access to the Upper Terraces located in Circuit 1 of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This is the best ticket if all you want to do is take the classic photo of Machu Picchu also known as the classic postal photo and enjoy the best views of Machu Picchu. The route only takes about 40 minutes to complete but you can stay up to 2 hrs. You must choose the specific time you will enter Machu Picchu when making your reservation between the hours of 6am to 3pm. There is only a 30-minute late tolerance so try to arrive on time. This entrance ticket to Circuit 1B will not allow you to visit the lower sector of Machu Picchu where the Inca ruins and temples are. You will need additional entrance tickets for those routes.

Helpful Tips: It is recommended you hire a Machu Picchu tour guide to take the best photos as there are no tripods or selfie sticks allowed. You must show your original passport along with your ticket at the entrance. The name on your passport and your Machupicchu ticket must match. You can NOT re-enter Machupicchu once you exit, so please make sure you are prepared to remain inside the entire time. There are no bathrooms or food allowed inside the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, so plan accordingly.
