Puno, Copacabana, Sun Island Catamaran Tour La Paz

Travel to La Paz from Puno while touring the beautiful city of Copacabana where you will visit the church and Sanctuary of Copacabana and then enjoy a Catamaran cruise to Sun Island, birthplace of the Inca Empire. We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and board the bus to the Copacabana town, where we will visit the church and Sanctuary of Copacabana and then board the Catamaran to Sun Island (Birthplace of the Inca Empire), where we sail enjoying a snack on board. In this legendary island you will visit the Inca Garden, steps and fountain Inca, then the itinerary includes a visit to the Cultural Complex Inti Wata, the main private tourist attraction in Bolivia, includes the underground museum Ekako, centers of traditional medicine and construction of reed boats, the Pachamama agricultural Inca, a craft center, the Intica shelter and the largest variety of Andean camelids located in the viewpoint "Manco Kapac" terraces. The visit to the Complex Inti Wata also includes the possibility of sailing on board an immense typical boat of Totora and a panoramic visit to the Inca palace Pilkokaina.

Afterwards we will board the catamaran or motor boat (depending on number of persons) to return to Copacabana, On the way we will have a buffet lunch, After arriving in Copacabana we catch the bus towards the city of Puno.

What Is Included?

• 05h30 Pickup from hotel in Puno only if in Puno downtown area.
• Bus departure to Copacabana.
• Stop at a Kasani border for migration documentation. We recommend chaning money in Kasani since the exchange rate is better at the Peruvian side.
• Arrival in Copacabana + City Tour Cathedral and Main Plaza.
• Catamaran to Sun Island with snack on board.
• Sun Island tour: Gardens of the Inca, Steps of the Inca, Sacred Fountain, Inti Wata Complex. Activities: Ancestral ceremony, Totora navigation, walk at Pikokaina, Inca Palace.
• Catamaran to Copacabana with buffet lunch on board.
• Bus to La Paz.
• Arrival in La Paz main terminal located at Av. Uruguay and Av. Perú.

What is not included?

• Breakfast on board (Please bring your own snacks or drinks).
• US Travelers must pay a tourist visa tax of $135USD to enter Bolivia.

Important: Your passport must have 6-month validity at the time of entry. If entering Bolivia from Peru then the passport you use must be the same passport used to enter Peru. If you have dual citizenship, you cannot switch passports at the Bolivian Border. You may also need a visa if you are a passport holder from countries from Group 2 or Group 3.
